The Planner reports to the Community Development Director and is also the staff liaison of the Rocky Mount Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals. The Community Development Department reviews site plans, issues sign permits and zoning permits, manages erosion and sedimentation control, and oversees proper land use planning.
