Mary Elizabeth Park is Rocky Mount's most developed public park and is centrally located, making it easily accessible by walking. The park, named in honor of the late Mary Elizabeth Angle, houses a large picnic shelter, one lighted basketball court, two lighted tennis courts, two pickleball courts, restrooms and a playground.

Picnic shelter rentals are available daily from April 1 to October 15. Contact the Town offices at 540-483-0907 for rental reservations. To complete the reservation, fill out the Park Shelter Reservation Application (PDF) and follow the instructions to return to the Town.

The park is bounded by South Main Street, Randolph Street and Claiborne Avenue.

Court lights are operational until 11 pm.
