Gilly's Park was partially funded by the family of the park's namesake, Gilly Glasgow. The park is located at the end of Trail Drive and is a public, year-round park equipped with two stocked fishing ponds, fishing dock, picnic shelter, restrooms, and a trail that encircles the ponds. Fishing licenses are required and the rules and regulations of the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries must be followed.
Picnic shelter rentals are available daily from April 1 to October 15. The shelter has two 12 foot picnic tables that seat 8 per table. Contact the Town offices at 540-483-0907 for rental reservations. To complete the reservation, fill out the Park Shelter Reservation Application (PDF) and follow the instructions to return to the Town.
